Japanese top department-store group Mitsukoshi Isetan’s spring campaign “Hanabana-Sai”(means “Flowers/Floral Festivals”) is under way.
Based in a concept of a “celebration of life and being,” the festival features video and main visual events created with color powder, surging flowers and plants. The advent of spring is expressed through the vitality and energy that cascades out from flowers and plant life. In addition, a display window has been prepared that presents an installation of coloured paper which dances and flows like the snowy flurry of cherry blossoms. Accumulating over a five week run, the fluttering storm is done to be an ever-changing display.
